Batzler's makes JSOnlines list of top southeast Wisconsin "Good Fish Fries" 2012
JSOnlines "Readers Pick - Best Fish Fries" 2013

"I have been to many places for fish around southeast Wisconsin, and I honestly still like to go to Batzler's off 107th St. and Brown Deer Road (8762 N. Granville Road). The cod is always flaky and fresh. The batter is as good as anyone else's. The french fries are cut with the peels still on them (the only way for a fry). Of course there is the rye bread, the coleslaw and, if you want, German potato salad instead of fries. But, it is the fish I come for, and this out of a guy who most people know will not eat anything that comes out of water!"
